We started our session at Maymont; a gorgeous location anytime of year. Afterwards, we visited the carriage house area as well as the Italian Gardens. Again, it was raining (at some times pouring) but they kept smiling, laughing and made the best of it!! We finished our session at Byrd Park to soak in all the fall foliage.

He managed to keep us on our toes all day and kept us guessing whether or not he was kidding or serious. (Like when he told us he was highly allergic to sunflowers…) The overall vibe from the very beginning of the day was calm, relaxed and super light-hearted which always makes the flow of a wedding day seamless.

You just can’t beat the view. It’s out of a magazine. Sun set on the lake, cute little boats floating around, and beautiful trees made it so easy to take pictures. There wasn’t a bad background in sight. I know Brittany and James will cherish these photos for a lifetime.
