Simone reached out last fall about her July 2019 wedding. We chatted over the phone and I could tell after just a few minutes that she was such a sweetheart. Since she mentioned her Ford's Colony Country Club wedding, I was shaking in my shoes with excitement. This has been one of my #venuegoals!!

When I arrived for the big day on Saturday, I was greeted with the warmest hug from Simone. She was absolutely radiant. I am telling you, this girl could be a beauty queen. Simone and her girls got ready at the Marriott Manor Club at Ford’s Colony. Before heading to the venue, I was able to grab some shots of Simone putting the finishing touches on her hair and makeup, before finally getting into her stunning wedding gown from Bridal Bliss.

The ceremony site was lined with floor to ceiling windows and perfectly aligned rows of chairs for Simone and Marko’s friends and family to watch them make their love official.

Following the ceremony, we headed to the golf course to capture some photos as guests were settling in for the reception. The manicured golf course looking over the water was stunning beyond words. The lush greens alone are a photographers dream, then you put two of the most gorgeous human beings on it and BAM - you really can’t ask for anything more.

As if things couldn’t get better, Simone changed into a second, beautiful wedding dress for the reception! Their reception was such a unique blend of American tradition and Marko’s Serbian traditions. Speeches were given in both languages, music was played in both languages and an incredible time was had by everyone that came out to celebrate this special couple.

I will look back on this day for a very long time and be in awe of every single detail Simone so thoughtfully planned and put into place. She created a real life fairytale wedding and I feel so blessed that I was able to be apart of it.
