The Clark Wedding
WOW. WOW. WOW. That is really all that I can say after Brendon and Emily’s wedding. The day was timeless, classic, and so special. The weather was perfect and the entire day went without the slightest of hiccups.
Emily and Brendon had their engagement session back in December and let’s just say, it was just a tad bit colder than their wedding day. ;) You never really know what type of weather you are going to get in Virginia on Memorial Day weekend. It’s usually about 100 degrees; however, the weather for their wedding was in the upper 70’s with a breeze. You couldn’t ask for anything better.
From the moment we arrived, the tone was relaxed, calm, and laid back. Everyone was hanging out and soaking up the time together. Emily shared a real tear jerking moment with her dad during their “Daddy-Daughter first look” (these get me every time!). It was one of my favorite moments of the day.
Finally, it was time for all of their friends and family to arrive. The ceremony took place under a gorgeous oak tree at Waverly Estate. Then it was time for the real party to begin, and the fun never stopped. A delicious taco bar, hilarious toasts, precious dances and delicious cake…everything was perfect. I was honored to be a part of Brendon and Emily’s special day. Congratulations to the newest Mr. and Mrs. on their new life together!
