Fall Mini Sessions

What a fun day! It was so much fun photographing 16 beautiful families for my Fall Mini Sessions this year. As the highly anticipated weekend approached, the weather was not looking great. We had to make the call to move our sessions to Sunday rather than Saturday. I am so grateful that my clients were so flexible and kind when dealing with this last minute change. This could have easily been a high-stress annoyance, but everyone was so gracious about everything.

This year, we hosted our Fall Mini Sessions at Woods Tree Farm in Amelia, Virginia and I was so impressed. The Woods family have created an amazing oasis and it’s a photographer’s dream. Their Christmas tree farm is still young and growing, but we used the pretty fall foliage as our backdrop for these sessions and I was thrilled with it.

There was a stunning tree covered path, and the color changing leaves were absolutely gorgeous. Our sessions finished in a wide open field that all of my clients loved (as did I). I left for the day and immediately started planning fall 2022, which says it all! I’m forever grateful for my wonderful clients who continue to show up and support me.
