Every couple dreams of perfect weather on their big day. But let’s be real, what are the chances of that really happening, right?! Well… Jessica and Brent’s wedding weather dreams came true on Saturday. I’m talkin’ 72 degrees, no humidity and beautifully SUNNY. I met these two about a year ago when I took their engagement photos at Yorktown Beach, and I instantly felt the chemistry that they had. We kept in touch as plans were being made, and even ran into each other at another Burchett Photography wedding back in September! I have been looking forward to Spring 2019 ever since Jessica booked her bridal portraits and her wedding day with us.
Jessica is so pretty! Obviously I knew she was going to be a beautiful bride, but when I saw her the day of her bridal portraits...I was absolutely blown away. Like, jaw-on-the-floor blown away. As I was shooting her portraits, all I could think about was Brent seeing his bride for the first time at the wedding. I just knew that he was going to be stunned.
Then came the BIG DAY! This wedding had such a positive atmosphere and the joy in the air was contagious. As soon as guests arrived at the venue, they were greeted with a Disney themed sign directing them where to go. The amount of Disney touches that were intentionally planned and created was incredible. Everywhere you looked there was another trace of a Disney movie. The ceremony was sweet and genuine, and seeing Brent spot his gorgeous bride for the first time was unforgettable. This was a real fairy tale wedding.
It was an absolute pleasure to be a part of their wedding day. Nathan and I couldn’t stop smiling. The most memorable part for us was when Jessica danced with her teenage daughter (also maid of honor) during the reception. She could not have been more thrilled to see her mom so sincerely happy and loved by Brent. Nathan even said, “did you get a little teared up during that dance?....because I did.”
The love Jessica and Brent have for one another is undeniably special, and I hope for nothing but the best for their bright futures.
