Joe Senior Session

Despite the threat of thunderstorms last night, we decided to take a chance and have Joe’s senior session anyway. And let me just say, the risk was definitely worth taking. I had a blast getting to know Joe, his mom and his girlfriend. Joe is a class of 2019 senior getting ready to graduate from Midlothian High School. With one glance, you can tell he is an outdoorsy kind of guy and extremely hard working. He plans to stay in Richmond and start his mechanic career when he graduates next month.

Because Joe absolutely loves the water and is basically a fishing-pro, we couldn’t think of a better location to take pictures than the James River. We started at Tredegar Ironworks and then headed across the river to Belle Isle. By that point, the weather had cooled down and the place was packed with people enjoying the water. We found a perfect spot to snap some pictures with Richmond’s cityscape in the background.

Joe is a huge Ford guy and loves his F150. I knew we would be cutting it close, but I just had to get pictures of him and his truck in his element. And we did just that. Our session ended as the sun was disappearing into the sky, and everything felt so epic! I’m so excited to see where life takes him in his career. Congrats, Joe!!!
