Have you ever met someone or a couple and think to yourself, “I want to hangout with you!!” Well, that was me this week with Brittany and James. Their engagement shoot was loads of fun. It was so easy to talk with them about their jobs, their new and ADORABLE house and some of their wedding plans.

I met Brittany at Longwood where we were both studying elementary education. She is such a sweet, soft spoken and kind person. Her and James were undeniably meant for each other.

We started taking pictures at the Appomattox Manor. Though it was a cloudy day, the sun decided to show its face for part of it and Brittany and James were naturals in front of the camera.

Our session ended on the water at City Point. I was able to get a few AMAZING shots of Brittany’s engagement ring. I actually may have drooled a little bit. Can you blame me?! I don’t think I’ve ever seen a diamond so big.

Their big day is in August and will be at the beautiful Sunday Park. I already know their wedding is going to be perfect.
