I don’t think I could tell you how much we laughed during this engagement session. Jenna and Bob are two of the most joyful and easy going people you will ever meet. Once again (this is becoming a trend in my blog posts) we had to reschedule our original engagement session. However, we had this date on the calendar for a while now and I am so glad that it stuck. The weather had been looking great all week leading up to their session. While I was on my way, the sky OPENED UP and it started pouring rain. Like pouring so hard that I could barely see where I was driving. I was thinking to myself “you have got to be kidding me!!” Thankfully Jenna’s positive attitude and a quick moving storm brought the dry skies 2 minutes before our time together began.

Jenna reached out because of mutual friends and a past bride’s wedding and I am so glad that she did. Bob and Jenna are going to tie the knot at Amber Grove in October 2020, and I am so excited.

I loved getting to know these two during their session. Both live and work in Northern Virginia. Jenna is local to Richmond and so she really wanted to have her wedding back “at home.” Amber Grove is only a couple miles from the neighborhood that she grew up in. It was the perfect choice.

One of my favorite things that I learned from our time together is the special story behind her engagement ring. I quickly found out that this was her Mother’s engagement ring. Jenna lost her mom about 10 years ago and now gets to carry a piece of her with her wherever she goes. This is so unique and touching. October 2020 can’t come fast enough.
