Eric + Meghan Engaged
There is only one other time that I can recall a session being THIS cold. It was down right FRIGID. However, Meghan and Eric were total and complete troopers! They made the best out of an insanely chilly situation.
I met Meghan through her sister, Amanda. Amanda and I went to college together, and I was SO excited when Amanda connected us with her sister. Meghan and Eric will be tying the knot at one of our favorite venues this coming October, The Antebellum of New Kent.
This adorable couple met at VCU while Eric was in the school of engineering and Meghan was in pharmacy school. I love that they decided to do their engagement session in Richmond, it just made sense.
We hit some of my favorite spots in the city; starting on Monument Avenue at a stunning iconic Richmond house. The homes along Monument Ave are a staple of Richmond. They each have such memorable, unique character. This house in particular is one of my client’s favorite places to shoot. The creamy white and dusty teal colors were so stunning.
Then we hopped over to the VMFA for a quick visit because it was freezing. Even though the temperatures were not ideal, these two pushed through! You can’t even tell by looking at their beautiful photos.
Our session ended as the sun was setting looking over the Richmond skyline at Libby Hill.
We even had an orange-sky sunset, which was perfectly paired with Meghan’s orange sweater. It’s like she planned it on purpose... ;)
I cannot wait to be reunited for their wedding in October, hopefully with temperatures above 20 degrees. LOL.
