The Woods Family - Maternity + Newborn

This adorable couple was referred to us by one of my past clients. Not only do I love when people are happy with their personal experiences, but when they love their pictures enough to share with others, that really makes my heart happy.

Sara and Justin are both originally from New York. The first day that our session was scheduled we had an ice storm. They are basically “pro winter-weather drivers” LOL. Me, not so much. I was so thankful that they were willing to reschedule to the following week.

Sara had contemplated getting professional hair and makeup done for her session. When I arrived, I immediately asked who did it. SHE DID! I am so envious of people with this natural talent. Sara was GLOWING and looked absolutely amazing. Her gorgeous red dress just set everything over the edge.

We started at one of my favorite spots in Midlothian and finished at a nearby field. I loved that they included their “first born” 4-legged child. He was adorable and grandpa was a great assistant with the dog! ;)

Fast forward just a few weeks and the baby girl was finally here! Everly was probably the sleepiest baby I've ever photographed. I honestly don’t think that she woke up once. Sara and Justin had designed such a beautiful nursery. I can’t tell you how many reactions I got on instagram about the wallpaper in there. People were dying over it! Needless to say, they have amazing taste.

I will be forever grateful that I met this adorable and kind couple!
