The Lucas Family

I am going to go out on a limb and say that Austin has been one of the biggest supporters and cheerleaders of Burchett Photography since its conception. Their Spring 2017 engagement session is still one of my favorites to date. Nathan and I photographed their wedding in 2017 mid-hurricane season and all. Ever since, Austin is the first person to refer us to anyone looking for a photographer. 

I knew from their wedding that Tommy and Austin were meant to be and would also be amazing parents. Every time I saw either of them post on social media, I was anxiously awaiting their pregnancy announcement. I wish I could express the PURE joy that I felt when I saw it pop up on Facebook. I’m pretty sure I squealed. LOL.

You can always leave it to Austin to look straight up fierce for any photo session, and her maternity session was no different. I loved that we revisited the same location that we did their engagement session at 4 years prior. I also love that she chose to have an outfit and location change. This gave lots of variety in their final photo gallery.

Finally, baby Amelia had arrived and I was able to meet this sweet girl. Tommy and Austin have the coziest apartment that made for such a sweet space to document this family of three for the first time. Not only do these people mean so much to me, but seeing all of our past session portraits hanging on all of their walls made my heart practically explode.
